My sketchbook is an essential tool in my artistic practice. I make it a habit to fill a page daily, using it as a limitless testing ground for documenting thoughts and ideas. This approach allows me to embrace intuition, which is vital for developing my artistic language.

 

These filled sketchbooks hold precious documentation of my artistic journey. I revisit them from time to time, finding they serve as reminders of my artistic path. Although my style continues to evolve over the years, I can identify consistent patterns, themes, and interests that reveal my unchanging identity.

スケッチブックは日々の創作に欠かせないツールです。毎日１ページを埋めることを習慣にしており、好奇心の赴くままにあれこれ試しつつ、考えやアイデアを記録しています。直感に耳をすませながら先の見えない方向に進んでみる、というプロセスが、自分の絵の輪郭のようなものを少しづつ形作ってくれる気がしています。

 

過去のスケッチブックは自分の創作の変遷の記録でもあります。時に見返すと、自分がどのような道を辿ってきたのかを大きな流れで掴むことができ、また描き方が変化する中においても、一貫した変わらない部分が自分の中にあることに気付くことができます。
